These are the best photos featured on my blog from 2008. There was no formal voting or traffic stats like I used to select the top posts on That Mutt. Instead, I picked these photos myself. It’s my blog, I can do that.
My favorite is the top photo of Ace wearing his dog backpack in Itasca State Park.
My boyfriend Josh got me a Canon PowerShot SD790 IS for Christmas. It is a big upgrade from what I used all year, so I hope to take much better and more pictures in 2009.
From now on, all the photos on my blog will be taken by me, with the exception of submitted photos from readers.

Very nice and familiar looking area. Looks very similar to some of my favorite hiking spots in the Gila National Forest.

I didn't know the Dakotas could be so beautiful. I always thought they were mythical as I'd never actually met someone from there but it's nice to see they exist :)
