Today’s article is about the Norwex Microfiber Pet Towel and Pet Mitt. I currently use both products with my 38-lb dog, Wally. Lindsay also tested out the products with her dog, Remy.

Use the mitt while it’s wet to gently lift dirt off your dog and wipe down dirty paws at the door. For example, after a muddy walk or romp around the dog park or backyard.
Use dry for in-between brushing sessions to remove loose hairs. Or to simply dry your dog’s wet paws at the door after a snowy or rainy walk.

Care instructions for the pet towel & mitt
The towel and the mitt can go into the washing machine, but don’t wash them with bleach or fabric softeners. That’ll damage the microfiber material. They can also go into the dryer, but without dryer sheets. Since they dry quickly, you can also just air-dry them.
If they’re not heavily soiled, simply clean them under running warm water with some dish detergent.

Any cons to the Norwex pet products?
The price point for both is a bit on the steeper side with $40.99 for the towel and $21.99 for the mitt. However, since they’re designed to last, this will likely be a once-in-a-lifetime purchase!
Also, this is not really a con but both the towel and the mitt are super soft and plush.
That means they’re tempting for dogs who like to rip up fluffy, textured items!
I recommend you don’t leave them within reach of puppies and adult pups who like to shred plush things.
My pup Wally is one of those! And although I’m making progress with his impulse control training around plush “toys,” I don’t trust him 100% quite yet. Sure enough, he did try to sneak away with the Pet Mitt, but thankfully he listened to my “leave it” command and dropped it! Haha. Silly boy.
