Active Mutts is a weekly challenge to encourage people to get out and about with their dogs and share photos.
The challenge for this week: practice obedience training with your dog out in public anywhere.
It could be something simple like working on “sit” on a walk. Or, it could be something more challenging like taking your dog to an outdoor restaurant and working on “stay.”
Email your pics to Lindsay@ThatMutt.com or post them to That Mutt’s Facebook page. You can also post them on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using #ActiveMutts. I’ll share all your photos on the blog next Friday.

Here are some of your pics from the last week. We didn’t have a specific challenge, just to get out for some fun!

The challenge is to practice obedience training with your dog while out and about.
I didn’t take Ace to a coffee shop last weekend, so hopefully we can do that tomorrow or Sunday.
Have a good week!

We practiced our down-stay skills while out & about at a pet retail store (Phydeaux in Raleigh, NC) this afternoon :-) Posted it on Instagram & hash-tagged it appropriately!

1. I love this new challenge! Practicing obedience at home without distractions is quite a different thing than practicing them in public with all the sights and sounds and smells. 2. Ace's throw-the-ball stare down face is the cutest thing I have seen in a while. :) Enjoy your coffee shop training date!

So adorable! We've only been walking the neighborhood, so I have no picturesque scenes of which to take with Maya and PIerson. These are all so nice. The silhouette of Kaya and Norman is very nice! And the look on Ace's face is too cute.

Obedience on a walk? That would be challenging. We do a few obedient things, but it is normally our time to let loose and just have fun.

Haha, well that's OK too! Walks should be fun!
