ThatMutt.com chooses a shelter dog each month and then raises money to cover that dog’s adoption donation fee.

For the month of January, readers generously donated $140 towards the adoption fee of Gemini the Lab/pitbull mix.

Gemini is up for adoption with the humane society in Fargo, N.D., and a lucky person or family will get to adopt her at a reduced cost (update: Gemini has an adoption in the works!). She is a playful, young dog who gets along well with cats!

Gemini will continue to be sponsored until she gets adopted (update: Gemini has been adopted!). The money raised has been sent to the humane society.

For the month of February, we have turned out attention to a puggle named Otis. Check back later today for an update on this special dog.
