Just wanted to share this uplifting adoption video with you from the SPCA of Wake County in Raleigh, N.C. It was posted last year and has had over 1.2 million views.
Talk about making the shelter a fun, uplifting, non-depressing place to visit!
This is exactly what shelters need to do to attract potential adopters and volunteers. Excellent work by the SPCA.
If you take a look at its web site and Facebook page, you will see lots of bright, colorful photos of happy and healthy-looking animals. The animals are not marketed as needy, abused or damaged. They are marketed as good pets.
The shelter also advertises reduced adoption fees, free adoptions on certain pets and cute “personal ads” for their pitbulls!
Absolutely love the work this group is doing. Check out their adoption promo in the video below. If you’re a softie like me, there will be happy tears.
Thank you to Tawna and Christina for sharing the video with me this morning.

FYI, Lindsay, I could't find your share buttons today. I was still able to share, of course, but share buttons would make it easier. (also, I accidentally spelled your name wrong in my previous comment.)
