Kitten open house July 13
Is your shelter full of kittens? Looking for a way to increase kitten adoptions? Then how about hosting a special kitten event for the community?
CATS Cradle Shelter in Fargo, N.D., has many kittens for adoption, and it’s holding a kitten open house from noon to 4 p.m Saturday July 13 at its shelter, according to its web site.
If your shelter has kittens, you might as well flaunt them, right? Who doesn’t love kittens? What a great way to attract potential adopters to the shelter. And if people can’t adopt, they’ll probably donate or spread the word about the adorable kittens they got to hold. Hey, they might even decide to adopt an adult cat. Or maybe they’ll realize how important cat fostering can be.
While most of you are not located in the Fargo area, I thought the kitten open house would be a great idea to pass along as a way to get more cats adopted at your own shelter. Hosting a kitten open house sounds irresistible to me. How about you?
