My Foster cat Tumbler joined our home June 6 through CATS Cradle Shelter in Fargo, N.D. He came from a local pound and is currently up for adoption. Edit: He has been adopted!
Once at our house, Tumbler quickly proved to be perfectly litter box trained, good with cats and dogs and very affectionate. He is front and back declawed, so you don’t have to worry about any scratchings!
We decided to name him Tumbler because, well, he has a bit of a belly and tends to roll around in a roly poly kind of way. He’s not one of those itty-bitty kitties. He’s a big lover, asks for belly rubs and makes a great spooning buddy.
Tumbler is one of those cats who likes to casually follow you around to see what’s up. When you talk to him, he talks back with cute, little chirps. In the middle of the day, he likes to take epic naps on our guest bed (which is now his room).
Tumbler is probably about 4 or 5 years old. He loves to be held and petted and talked to. He would do OK in a home with other animals and probably with kids, too. He is about two pounds overweight – that’s a lot when you’re a cat! – so he should probably remain on the “controlled feeding” plan. Sorry, Tumbler!
Really, he’s just a really nice cat with a really friendly and laid-back personality. We love that he’s so chill compared to our cats! He’s a no-drama kind of guy.
And did you notice that unique “ink spot” on that cute, pink nose?
How to adopt Tumbler
Edit: Tumbler was adopted! If you would like to adopt Tumbler or learn more about him, you can contact CATS Cradle Shelter or email me at Lindsay@ThatMutt.com. Just remember he won’t be at the shelter (he’s with me!), but I’d be happy to bring him somewhere to meet you. He’s not even listed on the shelter’s web site or on Petfinder yet, so you could be the first to scoop him up!
Tumbler has been neutered and vaccinated and tested negative for FeLV/FIV. His adoption fee is $109. If cost is an issue I will contribute to his fee – no questions asked.
Thank you for your interest in Tumber. He’s awesome! Send any questions to Lindsay@ThatMutt.com.

Hope Tumbler finds a new home soon, but glad he has you in the meantime! And yes, that is an interesting ink spot on his nose.
