I took a way-too-short trip to Wisconsin and visited my parents and one of my brothers earlier this month.
Of course, much of that time was spent with their dogs, Elsie the golden retriever & Sophie the English springer spaniel.
Later this week, we’re off to northern California for a wedding.

Yes, it was way too short. But better than no visit at all!

You're off to NorCal for a wedding and I'm off to SoCal for a wedding, haha.
It just dawned on me today how much I have planned this summer. It feels like it crept up on me all of a sudden! We're in Tahoe this week visiting my mom. Then we go to SoCal for 2 weeks for my brother's wedding. Then Tahoe again in July when family will be visiting from back East. A trip to New York in August and friends visiting from London in September. Luckily though the dogs will be with me for all the trips except NY so I'm sure they will have a blast with all the people and beach time. I can't wait!

Oh I'm so glad the dogs get to tag along for most of your trips. Ace is going with us this week so I'm so glad I don't have to board him.

My summer trips are all about promoting my blog - SuperZoo and Women in the Pet Industry are next. I hate leaving my babies behind :(

My horse and I did our first horse show the first weekend of June. In two weeks I am headed to Fairbanks, AK to manage a horse show. The pups have been working on hanging out in the yard. This weekend we hit 80 degrees in Anchorage! It was beautiful!!!
Sadly we have a really big forest fire that started yesterday and is impacting dog mushers and farmers with livestock. This morning I could smell the smoke at my house, over 100 miles away. Praying it gets under control soon and doesn't impact more families.

Oh, congrats on the horse show! And also managing a horse show this month!
Fires are so scary, and I hope firefighters can get this one under control soon. I can't even imagine how awful it must be.
