Note: I’ve partnered with Sampler to bring you this post.
We all love receiving packages in the mail. Whether we ordered them for ourselves or someone sent a gift, it’s always exciting to see what’s inside.
Enter to win the Sampler $200 Grand Prize Basket filled with products from all the participating brands. Details below.
I don’t know about you, but 90 percent of the packages I receive are for my dog. Every time a box arrives, Ace is at the door eager to sniff the wrapping to discover his new toy or treat. He’s become quite entitled!
Well, this week I want to let you know about an online event that’s happening because it will give you a chance to spoil your pets.
It’s an online sampling event by Sampler called Pet Paw-Looza, and 6,600 samples and 8,545 coupons will be up for grabs from great brands.
There will also be “flash giveaways” and a grand prize basket filled with products.
Here’s how it works:
The Pet Paw-Looza Online Pet Product Sampling Event runs this May 20 to May 28.
Pet Paw-Looza is a one-week online event where you have the chance to try pet products from great brands such as Riley’s Organic Dog Treats and Bravo Pet Foods.
How to participate:
RSVP to the event on Sampler’s Facebook Page.
This will allow you to:
1. Enter to win the Grand Prize Basket filled with products from all the participating brands & valued at more than $200.
2. Get access to the schedule of sampling events taking place on the brands’ Facebook pages.
What brands are participating?
The brands giving away samples and coupons include:
[check_list]
- Riley’s Organic Dog Treats
- Isle of Dogs
- Unique Natural Products
- By Nature
- Bravo Pet Foods
- Northern Pet Products

More details on how the sampling events work
1. RSVP.
You can do so here, and you’ll receive the calendar of sampling events.
2. “Wish for” the items you’d like.
Once you receive the calendar, you’ll have the chance to “wish for” the product samples you’d like to receive.
This doesn’t guarantee you a sample, however. The only way to receive a sample is to have a Facebook friend send it to you, so it’s best to buddy up with a Facebook friend and have the samples sent to each other.
Make sense?
For example, I would love to receive products from Bravo, so I would “wish for” samples from Bravo and then a Facebook friend would have the samples sent to me and I’d have a sample sent to her.
It will look like this:
3. The actual sampling events.
The sampling events will take place Monday May 25 to Thursday May 28.
Sampling events will be hosted on the brands’ own Facebook pages under a special tab (not in the news feed). For example, Bravo will host its sampling event on its Bravo Facebook page. Once you’ve RSVP’d, you’ll get the schedule.
4. Flash giveaways!
Finally, a couple of pet bloggers will be offering flash giveaways throughout the week. I’ll be hosting a flash giveaway (meaning a surprise time and a surprise item!) at some point throughout the week. Follow That Mutt on Facebook so you don’t miss out.
More info on the participating brands
My dog Ace has been sampling many of the products that will be featured throughout Pet Paw-Looza, and here’s a look at the brands.
Let me know which of these brands your dog would be most interested in!
Bravo Pet Foods
Bravo offers high-quality food for dogs and cats, according to its Facebook page. Some of its products include frozen raw diets, freeze-dried raw diets, treats, chews, bones and supplements.
Ace got to try some of the company’s freeze-dried raw meals, and of course he loved them. I’m a big supporter of raw food for pets.
Bravo’s sampling event will take place here.
Riley’s Organic Dog Treats
Dog treats from Riley’s Organics are USDA organic and baked in a human-grade bakery, according to its Facebook page.
I’m not afraid to admit I tried one of these treats myself after looking at the ingredients, and it was so good I had more! Seriously, they taste like little Teddy Grahams but without all the sugar!
I was glad to later read on the company’s Facebook page: “These treats are so good and so healthy that we can eat them ourselves.”
Oh thank goodness, I’m not the only one snacking on dog treats!
The Riley’s sampling event will take place here.
By Nature
By Nature makes natural and organic pet foods and treats formulated to help support the pet’s natural defenses, according to its Facebook page. Products include dry food, canned food and treats.
Ace sampled the grain-free turkey and sweet potato recipe, and it was a hit! More importantly, I am happy with the ingredients (real, specific animal protein and real fruits and veggies). It’s a dry food brand I’m comfortable recommending.
By Nature’s sampling event will be here.
Unique Natural Products
The Unique pet odor and stain eliminator uses a blend of natural and healthy bacteria and microbes that literally biodegrade stains and odors, according to the company. It works on any surface and turns stains into carbon dioxide and water.
All pet owners should have a good odor eliminator on hand, especially puppy owners or those who foster dogs and cats.
Unique’s sampling event will take place here.
Northern Pet Products
Northern Pet Products makes all-natural, holistic dog biscuits using fresh meats and vegetables sourced from Canadian growers, according to its Facebook page. Products include wheat-free and grain-free dog biscuits and wheat-free dental chews.
Ace got to sample the pumpkin dental chews you see pictured.
Northern Pet Products’ sampling event will take place here.
Isle of Dogs
Isle of Dogs provides grooming products for dogs such as shampoos, conditioners and odor sprays.
One of the products Ace received from Isle of Dogs was the Deep Cleaning Shampoo in the signature fragrance, red berries + champagne. Sounds good, right? The shampoo is also sulfate and paraben free.
The Isle of Dogs sampling event will take place here.
Want to be my Facebook friend?
This week, I welcome any of my readers to send me a Facebook friend request. You can unfriend me right after the event if you’d like. Trust me, I won’t be hurt. 🙂
I’ll do my best to accept your requests and send you a couple of samples throughout the Pet Paw-Looza event. Just make sure to RSVP and to “wish for” the items you’re interested in.
If you have any questions, leave them in the comments and I’ll track down the answers. Or, go ahead and RSVP and Sampler will walk you through the process.
Good luck, and let me know if you plan to participate!

Hope this is the right place for the flash giveaway because I have never participated in one. So far I'm scoring zero with the samples as I seem to have problems with my entry although I did RSVP. Would love to win something. Thanks for participating. You are just down the road from where I live in Thousand Oaks, CA

I think Shiner's favorite might have been the Bravo pet food. That stuff smelled amazing!
