#ActiveMutts is a fun, weekly challenge to encourage all of us to get out and about with our dogs.
You don’t have to join every week to participate, and your dog doesn’t have to literally be a “mutt.”
Just jump in at any time and post your new pics to Twitter, Facebook or Instagram using #ActiveMutts. I’ll post the collection of photos every Thursday.
You can also email your pics to Lindsay@ThatMutt.com or post directly to That Mutt’s Facebook page.
Here is my pic of my dog Ace from the week.
This is at our local dog beach. The pic was taken by my friend Becca.

Argh. I missed posting our photos, though we did have a great time getting out and enjoying the nice weather. We had our first "walk around the block" (a 7K loop on country roads), so we got to catch up with all of the local cows and chickens. We had a family walk across the fields including a dive into the marsh--thankfully Baxter didn't get as muddy as Kaya! It was so much fun. I'm assuming the challenge is just to get out and be active this week? No specific challenge this time around?

Yes, just to get out and about. I guess I should specify that better!

I bet swimming is a great activity for Ace with his arthritis and stuff.

Yes, it is! As long as he's not leaping through the waves, which he tries to do sometimes. :)
