Support Labs & More Rescue in San Diego
I recently started volunteering with an amazing rescue group in the San Diego area called Labs & More.
While there are dozens of rescue organizations around here, I volunteer with Labs & More because it regularly pulls Labs, Lab mixes and other dogs from high-kill shelters throughout the region.
The group’s adoption process is reasonable, allowing dogs to get into loving homes quickly.
I am raising money for Labs & More as part of its current fundraiser, the “Howl-O-Ween” 5K Mutt Run/Walk and dog costume contest.

More about the Howl-O-Ween 5K Mutt Run
If you’re in the San Diego area and want to participate in the 5K, the race starts at 9 a.m. Saturday Oct. 25 at Road Runner Sports in San Diego.
The dogs pictured in this post are Gladys (top), an 8-year-old Lab mix for adoption with Labs & More and Super Zeus, the 6-year-old Lab who I sat with at a recent adoption event. Both dogs are looking for their loving, forever homes.
