One of my favorite things about having a dog is taking him on adventures and out and about in the community.
On Easter, my husband and I often go camping or hiking, and this year we took our dog hiking on one of the local trails.
It was a 3-mile hike and our dog crashed for 24 hours afterwards. You’d think we had done a marathon. 🙂 We took him to a local shake/juice bar afterwards, and he was calm as can be.
What adventures do you have planned this weekend?

I just got home from hiking and a picnic! I dug a little hole in the middle of our hike to lie down for just a second. It was great!

I love going hiking with my bipeds. I get really excited when I see them preparing the stuff we take on a longer hike!

How fun! I would LOVE to take our dogs on a hike. But this will wait for warmer weather. I'm a wuss. This weekend I'm going to my very first Pet Expo!

Most people think we are old dogs because we aren't real wild...always tired from long walks in the morning or going for a run! Mom has WordCamp this weekend, so we will be catching up on lots of napping.

I love taking my dogs on adventures too. A tired dog is a good dog ; )
